My U-Bell DB1 will not find the WIFI network.

If your U-Bell DB1 is not connecting to your WIFI network, check the following:

First time setup
  1. Ensure your phone is connected to the WIFI network you want the U-Bell to connect to.  Ensure this network is a 2.4Ghz network and not a 5Ghz network.  U-Bell DB1 WILL NOT CONNECT TO A 5GHZ NETWORK.
  2. During the setup process in the app, ensure you press the reset button for 5 seconds until you hear "Setting up WIFI" from the loudspeaker of the U-Bell.  Then click "next" after inputting the WIFI password.  


After setup
  1. Ensure you have good signal from the router to the doorbell.  
  2. You should not have to do any advanced setup typically unless your network requires it, such as static IP addressing or port forwarding
