If you are experiencing issues with viewing your cameras on your mobile device, please suggest the following:
For users with a Uniden Guardian UDR series wireless video security systems, UDR777HD & UDR780HD.
If you are having issues getting the mobile application to view when outside your home / business network or when not using WIFI, please see the following bandwidth requirements and suggested fixes.
- Due to 1080p resolution needs, the monitor to router connection requires minimum 4Mb/s upload capability. This means that your home / business upload speed may not be sufficient to broadcast the 1080p resolution.
- One suggested fix is to ensure you have ample upload bandwidth in your internet connection. Depending on what other devices you have connected, these devices could also be using upload bandwidth.
- The other suggested fix is to set the resolution to LOW in the application ONLY. This does not set the recording resolution to low, only the sub stream viewing to your mobile device.
- In the application, click the Edit icon > Advanced Setting > Video Quality > Set to Medium or Low
